Skin Problems

Conditions such as acne, exzema and dehydrated skin are frequently related to prostaglandins in general. Decreases in anti oxidant intake and elevated Cortisol are secondary to dietary or psychological stress as these are also related to poor skin conditions. Poor water content, drink more water. Exposure to strong sunlight (UVA and UVB) activates compounds which break down collagen and causes accelerated skin aging.

Osteoporosis or signs of Menopausal symptoms

The most common being hot flashes, night sweats and mood swings, are usually related to fluctuations in the three types of estrogen hormones and the progesterone hormone. Changes in testosterone and cortisol levels can also influence menopausal symptoms. Poor memory, emotional reactions, mood swings, and crying, are all part of this time of life.

Prostate symptoms

Recent studies have shown that the concept of genetically inherited cancers has changed, to show that the environment plays a major role in whether someone develops cancer or not. In the case of prostate cancer, it has been shown to be directly linked to poor antioxidant supplementation. Protective compounds found in broccoli as well as saw palmetto, pygeum and stinging nettle extracts can help with prostate health in men.

Heart Problems

What Causes A Heart Attack? Almost all heart attacks occur in people with atherosclerosis. Over 90% of heart attacks occur when a fatty deposit in one of the heart's vessels causes a blood clot to form, and the clot blocks blood flow in the vessel. The major risk factors for atherosclerosis and heart attacks are smoking, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, and a family history of heart disease, heart attacks, or stroke. Minor risk factors are older age, male gender, sedentary lifestyle, obesity, and "type A" personality.
