Elaine Chin, M.D., M.B.A.
Medical Director
As a family physician in Mississauga since 1989, Dr. Chin has been focusing much of her practice towards women's care, specializing in menopause management and anti-aging medicine. Through a proactive approach to patient care, she has recognized that a significant number of patients require more than just medical attention. Her patients have demanded more choices in therapeutic modalities. Hence, with partners she has established The Beresford Clinic and the Beresford Center Inc.
The Beresford Clinic is presently located within The Trillium Health Center, where it offers a one-stop service for alternative therapies, skin care treatment, beauty services, image consultations and counseling supports. The Beresford Center is located at 199 Avenue Road and offers the additional services of plastic surgery, naturopathy, cosmetic dentistry, as well as beauty & spa services.
Another component of Dr. Chin's career is in the role of healthcare consultant to such companies as Nesbitt Burns, Liberty Health, Columbia Health Care, Gimbel Eye Centre, and Beacon Eye Institute. A significant part of her consulting practice focuses on development of new healthcare services and delivery.
The combined expertise in medical care and healthcare management greatly benefits the Bereford's multi-disciplinary healthcare facility.
