David T. Wong M.D., F.R.C.S.(C)
Consultant to the Beresford

Dr. David Wong is an Eye Physician and Surgeon specializing in Vitreous and Retina surgery. He is a graduate, with an Honors Doctorate from the University of Toronto, he also holds a Diploma of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. His present appointments include, Assistant Professor, University of Toronto and Active Staff Ophthalmologist at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. He is a member of the Ethics Committee for the Department of Ophthalmology, and is on the Undergraduate Medical Education Committee. Dr. Wong is a member of the Canadian Ophthalmology Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, The Vitreous Society, and The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).

Dr. Wong has been asked to speak as an invited lecturer in Malaysia, Germany and the U.S.A. He has authored many papers and publications.

Dr. Wong's latest initiative is the Canadian Eye Registery. David's commitment to patient care compliments his already successful career.
